Our tykes had a blast visiting the firehall this month….
Sirens, hoses and of course big bright red shiny TRUCKS! Our first June 'Discovery Field Trip' was to Firehall 14 to meet the firefighters and get a tour of the station! Our momstown kids got to sit in the fire trucks, test out the sirens and ask all the important questions like 'is sliding down the pole fun?!'
Our discovery field trips are all about FUN and EDUCATION. The firefighters taught our little ones about fire safety and reminded the mamas of all the important facts too! It was a great morning out and momstown thanks the men and women of Firehall 14 for hosting our group!
We have one more field trip coming up in June to Heeman's Garden Centre. Our July field trips include a special Canada Day visit to Eastpark and a weekend outing to Kusterman's Berry Farm. Discovery field trips are great ways to spend time with other families and get out to new and exciting places in London and area!
